I'm not humbled by being wrong since there's always so many people who were much more wrong that I can feel prescient in comparison.
What's really humbling, and fascinating, is trying to say things in a way that can be readable to different kinds of people at once: enthusiastic Harris supporters, grudging Harris voters, and Trump voters too. I want to model a type of public speech that shifts people into thinking about values into thinking about self-interest.
Just trying to write well is incredibly humbling. I hit send in every one of these posts and feel a strange mix of pride at finishing something and humiliation at how imperfect it is.
